Raised in Martinsville, Virginia, Matt’s love for the outdoors was instilled at an early age by his father and older brother. He began hunting at just five years old, a passion that eventually grew into a career as a waterfowl and turkey guide in eastern North Carolina. From chasing whitetails to guiding clients in the field, Matt’s lifelong connection to the outdoors gives him a unique perspective when helping others buy and sell land.
A natural competitor, Matt also grew up playing sports and went on to play collegiate baseball at Hampden-Sydney College (go Tigers). That experience ingrained the values of hard work, dedication, and persistence – traits he now brings to his real estate career. His background as both an athlete and an outdoorsman has shaped his ability to work tirelessly for his clients while understanding what makes a property truly valuable.
